My costume-designing project went well, and I had a lot of fun with it, but sadly a good number of my ideas did not get used. We were on a low budget, so.... considering my general extravagant plans, it's understandable
I posted two new drawings and I apologize again for my extreme weirdness. I seem to become more of a nerd as this account goes on...
In other news, I am in the process of making an 1880 formal gown, which is taking up a great deal of time, but happily coming along well. It doesn't have a bustle (1880 was in that brief period between bustles!) but it still uses a LOT of fabric.
Oh, and because I can't stop with the nostalgia, I must mention the letters from 1814 I'm working with at the historical society. Full of ships, captains, and fisherman mistaken as the British fleet (I enjoy that account
