No more snow

Sun Mar 22, 2009, 1:48 PM
Well, it's spring, finally. I was able to actually sit outside while reading yesterday, which was very welcome.

I've been busy as usual, and of course the economy going as it is just makes things more stressful. :o But I'm not going to complain - I have books with which to spend my free time! (When I have any free time...) I discovered the wonderful Aubrey-Maturin series recently, which is only adding to my nostalgia for the 19th century....
Why do I always wish to live in another time period? Ah well, that's just the way of things, I guess. :)

Mostly my drawings lately have been costume designs for my school theater program. I seem to be incapable of allowing myself to "sketch" something without spending at least an hour on it.... I don't know what I've gotten myself into now! I'll put up some of those drawings, but be warned that my scanner is not entirely reliable any more, and I'm certainly not going to be able to pay to have it fixed any time soon. We'll see how this goes.

And happy spring, everyone.

Well, if you didn't want to live in this time period, I think that would be understandable. I frequently wish that I had been born in the Middle Ages.

It actually snowed today where I live just a little. Did you get any?

My goodness.

I simply thought Father Winter was saying goodbye.
